I put out all my fall decorations today.

The weather has been cooler at night with sunny days and temperatures in the eighties. President Trump and the First Lady tested positive for COVID-19.

Palo Pinto County has had 634 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and 15 deaths.

Stephanie and Hayden are local again. They got back late Monday evening. Stephanie and I had lunch together today. It was great to see her. She looked amazing. She told me some travel tales and checked on all my plants. My green thumb met with her approval. She didn’t miss any of the plants I had killed since I destroyed all the evidence.

Trump said he has completely recovered from the COVID-19. He stated publicly that there is no need to fear the virus. Of course he had access to experimental drugs that are off limits to the general population.

Summer temperatures are back and no rain is in the forecast.

Early voting began yesterday and long lines at the polls have been in the news. People in nearby counties waited for hours to cast their vote. Ray and I went tonight and there was no line. Some poling sites in Tarrant County were temporarily closed today due to worker(s) testing positive for the Corona Virus.

The number of positive cases in Palo Pinto County is now 693. Deaths are up to 17.

Celebrity Whoopi Goldberg said publicly today that she didn’t think President Trump really tested positive for COVID-19.

Stephanie and I ran some errands this morning in Weatherford. The day started with a massage and after lunch I got a call from a gentleman with a Middle-Eastern accent who wanted to know if I’d be home this afternoon. Turns out he’s the delivery guy for Publisher’s Clearing House and I’m their latest winner. (Yeah, right.) I told him not to bother with delivering and just stick my check in the mail.

As we loaded the car at our last stop Steph said, “Oh Mom, your shirt’s inside out.”

Of course we’d be at our final destination when she noticed. I must’ve put it on that way after my massage. I said, “Who cares? Now that I’m a millionaire, I can wear my clothes inside out and I’ll be eccentric instead of a moron.”

The 75 chicks Ray ordered came in today. These are meat birds. They are brighter yellow and fluffier than his first batch of red layers.

I got my flu shot on Monday and had a migraine yesterday. I’m not sure if they’re related. I can usually trace my headaches to artificial sweeteners but sometimes they are random.

The weather’s been cold and wet this week. I brought all my plants inside. Now I know why they call them “garden” tubs.

In Washington D.C. many businesses have already boarded up windows and doors anticipating trouble after the election results are announced next Tuesday. Across the US, record numbers have turned out to vote early. Experts have conflicting opinions regarding whether or not there will be long lines at the polls on Election Day.

Palo Pinto County has had 800 positive cases of COVID-19. We have 36 active cases and have had 17 fatalities.
